He has also served as a director on boards of other NYSE, Amex, and Nasdaq listed client companies, and a major bank. He was on the Board and Executive Committee of The Allegheny County Industrial Development Corp. and the Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Economy League – Western Division. He was also vice-chairman of Caswell-Massey Co., Ltd., the esteemed, heritage personal care products and pharmacy business during its great identity years. In 1973 the Pennsylvania Retailers Associations named him Retailer of The Year. For more than 20 years he actively served on the Board Of Visitors of the Katz Graduate School Of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and is currently an Emeritus member.
